Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Browns' picks: Round 2/50 -- Mohamed Massaquoi, WR, 6-2, 210, Georgia...The fact the Browns would take wide receivers back-to-back says a few things; they are covering themselves if legal troubles prevent Donte Stallworth from playing, they are preparing for Braylon Edwards to leave through free agency and they don't have much faith in last year's sixth-round draft pick, Paul Hubbard. Massaquoi graduated in December with a degree in psychology. He is smooth as a receiver and caught 58 passes as a senior. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout Mohamed Massaquoi News
01/15/10 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi is a keeper and will benefit from the off-season and another training camp. Often when Quinn or Anderson threw an interception, Massaquoi was the intended target. Sometimes he went one way and the ball was thrown to a different spot. Still, he led the team with 34 catches.
01/13/10 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi, a rookie second-round pick, led the Browns with 34 receptions, the fewest number of catches for the Browns' leader in receptions since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978. That includes the strike season of 1982 when teams played nine games. That year, Ozzie Newsome led the Browns with 49 catches.
12/29/09 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi made a true NFL catch against Oakland when he snagged a pass thrown behind him. Massaquoi's development has been steady if not dramatic. He appears to be a legitimate No. 2 receiver, but must prove he can be a No. 1.
12/22/09 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi has seen his numbers shrink the last two games, as the Browns threw few passes. The weather limited the passing game against Pittsburgh, and the Browns didn't have to throw much against Kansas City the way they ran the ball.
12/15/09 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi is growing on the job -- and playing like a rookie. Massaquoi had a 37-yard catch against Pittsburgh, but he also misread coverage on two incompletions. It's not surprising. Massaquoi has to learn while playing.
