Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Browns' picks: Round 2/50 -- Mohamed Massaquoi, WR, 6-2, 210, Georgia...The fact the Browns would take wide receivers back-to-back says a few things; they are covering themselves if legal troubles prevent Donte Stallworth from playing, they are preparing for Braylon Edwards to leave through free agency and they don't have much faith in last year's sixth-round draft pick, Paul Hubbard. Massaquoi graduated in December with a degree in psychology. He is smooth as a receiver and caught 58 passes as a senior. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout Mohamed Massaquoi News
04/08/13 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Terms were not disclosed. The oft-injured Massaquoi was a second-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2009 and has 118 receptions for 1,745 yards while stating 43 of 54 career games. He had 17 catches for 254 yards while starting five of nine games for the Browns in 2012. The Jaguars had been searching for a third receiver behind starters Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III, a role Mohamed could fill if he's able to stay healthy - he hasn't made it through a 16-game regular season since his rookie year. Jacksonville also signed Jordan Shipley this offseason and has Taylor Price, Mike Brown, Toney Clemons and Jerrell Jackson on the roster headin into the NFL Draft later this month.
12/24/12 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi was placed on injured reserve by the Browns, who signed quarterback Thaddeus Lewis off their practice squad. Massaquoi started five of the nine games he played in this season, finishing with 17 catches for 245 yards. The oft-injured Massaquoi has been battling a hamstring injury most of the season.
12/24/12 - WR Mohammed Massaquoi was placed on injured reserve by the Browns after he missed the Broncos game with a knee injury. Massaquoi's injury-filled tenure with the Browns appears to be over. He missed five games this season with a hamstring and caught just 17 passes.
11/26/12 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi had his most productive game since returning from a hamstring injury. Massaquoi's numbers weren't huge -- three catches for 27 yards -- but the catches were all important in the Browns' win.
11/21/12 - WR Mohamed Massaquoi is not on the injury report this week. He missed five games with a hamstring, caught one pass against the Ravens in his first game back and none last week in Dallas.
