 Draft Scout *Brian Hartline News
01/14/10 - WR Brian Hartline stepped in and displayed the savvy, hands, toughness and a team-leading 16.3 yards-after-catch average that Ted Ginn Jr. seems incapable of.
01/04/10 - WR Brian Hartline scored on a 16-yard flanker reverse in the fourth quarter for the first rushing touchdown of his career and his fourth TD overall. He led the team with a 16.3-yard-after-catch average.
12/22/09 - WR Brian Hartline continues to be the best Ohio State receiver on the team with two clutch catches for a career-high 96 yards, including the spectacular 57-yarder in the fourth quarter that he took out of Michael Griffin's hands. He leads the Dolphins with a 17.0 yards-per-catch average. The last Dolphins rookie to do so was Chris Chambers in 2001 when he averaged 18.4 yards-per-catch.
12/21/09 - WR Brian Hartline had two catches for 96 yards, including one for 57 yards on which he turned a potential interception by Chad Henne into a circus catch, deflecting the ball away from Michael Griffin. The 96 yards surpassed his career high of 94 set vs. the Saints. He leads the Dolphins with 16.9 yards per catch.
12/20/09 - WR Brian Hartline hauled in a 57-yard bomb from Chad Henne that bounced out of the hands of safety Michael Griffin. That gives Hartline, the rookie fourth-rounder out of Ohio State, two of the Dolphins' three longest pass receptions this year. Hartline's 67-yard catch against New Orleans is the longest of the year for a team that has just five pass plays of 35 yards or more. Hartline has three of those.
