Post-Draft Outlook: A closer look at the Jaguars' picks: 7/250, Rashad Jennings, RB, 6-1, 231, Liberty...This could be a pleasant find for the Jaguars, taking a player of Jennings' quality this late in the draft. One draft analysis had Jennings as high as a third-round pick. Jennings has good size (6-1, 231) and speed. He was Big South Conference offensive player of the year for the past two seasons. He played eight games as a freshman at Pittsburgh before transferring to Liberty his final three seasons. While he's a stretch to make the roster as a running back, he could be a top special teams player. - by The Sports Xchange

Draft Scout Rashad Jennings News
11/15/16 - RB Rashad Jennings finished with 15 carries for a season-high 87 yards Monday against the Bengals.
Jennings, who missed three games earlier in the season with a thumb injury and who at times this season has looked like a plodding running back, had runs of 25, 24 and 16 yards this week.
"It felt good," he said. "Ain't no way around that. It felt good and it should. That's what we're supposed to do."
10/24/16 - RB Rashad Jennings, who has rushed 53 times for 142 yards (2.7 average) and one touchdown, is still the team's starting running back, per head coach Ben McAdoo. Jennings averaged 1.9 yards per carry on 13 attempts in Sunday's win over the Rams, just a hair better than the 1.8 yards per carry the running game combined to record.
10/19/16 - RB Rashad Jennings (thumb) remains on the injury report despite having been active last week against the Ravens. Jennings is not expected to miss Sunday's game.
10/13/16 - RB Rashad Jennings (thumb) told reporters that he plans on playing Sunday against the visiting Baltimore Ravens (1 p.m., ET) despite once again being listed as limited. Earlier this week, head coach Ben McAdoo said that Jennings was closer to being able to return after a three-week absence. Jennings said that he was able to do more in Thursday's practice than he has since suffering the injury.
10/12/16 - RB Rashad Jennings (thumb) was limited in Wednesday's practice. Jennings has missed three games because of what has been reported to be a sprained left thumb. Head coach Ben McAdoo said Jennings is closer to being able to play than he was last week, while Jennings said that he's been able to apply the necessary points of pressure on the ball, including with his thumb.
He wasn't able to do the first couple of weeks of the injury.
