09/26/16 - OLB Clay Matthews didn't play in the 34-27 victory over the visiting Lions on Sunday. The team held its veteran standout out of the game after he endured ankle and hamstring issues during the Week 2 loss at the Minnesota Vikings. The bye week should give Matthews ample time to return and play the next game Oct. 9. Julius Peppers started in Matthews' absence Sunday with Nick Perry still manning the other outside spot.
