06/18/09 - LB Antonio Appleby, a rookie free agent out of Virginia, was released June 16.
11/07/08 - LB Antonio Appleby is completely recovered from the ankle injury that forced him to miss most of the North Carolina game and all of the Georgia Tech contest. Appleby played part-time against Miami, but is now expected to be full-time again this week.
11/03/08 - ILB Antonio Appleby returned in week 10 after missing two games with an ankle injury, but he was ineffective against the Hurricanes. He finished with one tackle, while splitting time with Darren Childs.
10/29/08 - It's not clear if NT Nick Jenkins and ILB Antonio Appleby will start against the Hurricanes. Both are listed with an "or" on the depth chart behind their backups. Nate Collins backs up Jenkins, while Darren Childs will start in place of Appleby if he can't play because of his ankle injury.
