03/13/13 - TE Kellen Davis was released by the Bears, according to Pro Footall Talk. The five-year veteran was due to earn a base salary of $2.4 million salary in 2013 ut he was expendable with the signing of free-agent tight end Martellus Bennett on the first day of free agency.
Davis caught 19 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns last year.
