Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Bears' picks: Round 3/99 -- Juaquin Iglesias, WR, 6-1, 210, Oklahoma...A three-year starter who improved every year, Iglesias caught 74 passes for 1,150 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior after catching 68 passes for 907 yards as a junior. Started 11 games as a sophomore with 41 catches for 514 yards. Effective kickoff returner throughout career, averaging 26.4 yards. Has only average speed (4.53 in the 40) but shows good quickness in route running and picking up yardage after the catch. Ideal slot receiver willing to do the tough jobs that come with working the underneath areas between the hash marks. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout Juaquin Iglesias News
08/15/10 - WR Juaquin Iglesias knows that as well as anyone on the deep end of the 80-man roster, he could be on the bubble. A third-round pick in 2009, Iglesias was facing a battle even before he suffered a quad injury on Aug. 1 that kept him out of action until Sunday, although he did dress for Friday night's practice at Soldier Field. "I finally just told the trainers, 'I'm coming out here, I'm tired of watching,' Iglesias said on Sunday. "It's frustrating on the sideline. I don't want to come out here and rush it, but I'm tired of watching. As a competitor, I want to get out there. I'm trying to fight for a spot and I can't do it from the sideline."
08/01/10 - WR Juaquin Iglesias was unable to finish Sunday's practice because of a groin injury that is not believed to be serious.
03/04/10 - WR Juaquin Iglesias was obviously less NFL-ready than fifth-rounder Johnny Knox. Iglesias didn't even get on the field until the season finale.
01/14/10 - WR Juaquin Iglesias is a bigger body (6-1, 205), but he was active only for the season finale, although the "redshirt" year should help him in 2010.
09/02/09 - WR Juaquin Iglesias has flashed some skills including decent hands but hasn't shown consistent separation. Has done well on kickoff returns.
