Post-Draft Outlook: A closer look at the Texans' picks: 7/223 -- Troy Nolan, S, 6-1, 207, Arizona State...The Texans could use a young player at safety with the potential to give them more options. He has good speed and skill. And the Texans will see how quickly he can adapt to the NFL. It will likely be hard for him to see the field unless it's on special teams. - by The Sports Xchange

Draft Scout Troy Nolan News
10/04/12 - S Troy Nolan has a chance to play against the Jets after being re-signed. He's replacing the injured Quintin Demps coming off the bench. Demps has played well and has made some big plays. When Nolan has gotten a chance to play during the last two seasons, he's made plays, too. Because he was waived during the last roster reduction, he knows the system. The coaches are hoping for a repeat of last season when they cut Demps and re-signed him. He played so well coach Gary Kubiak apologized for cutting him in the first place.
