04/08/10 - RB Gartrell Johnson, who will compete with D.J. Ware and Andre Brown for the third down running back spot, recently paid a visit to his alma matter to deliver a pep talk. Johnson, who ran for 1,476 yards and 12 touchdowns in his senior season for Colorado State, was drafted in the fourth round of last year's draft by San Diego. He finished his rookie season playing 10 games for the Giants and had 13 carries for 43 yards.
