Post-Draft Outlook:
BEST PICK: Quarterback Sam Bradford -- An obvious choice. Now the face of the franchise, Bradford will be expected to excel for the next decade.

A closer look at the Rams' picks: Round 1/1 -- Sam Bradford, QB, 6-4, 236, Oklahoma: Once Bradford showed he was recovered from shoulder surgery, there wasn't much doubt he would be the Rams' pick. Now, they just have to work hard to put a good team behind him. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout *Sam Bradford News
08/15/14 - QB Sam Bradford will play at least a quarter and "maybe a little bit more" against Green Bay on Saturday, according to coach Jeff Fisher. Bradford will have the opportunity, said Fisher "to continue doing the same things he's doing out here. Push the ball down the field. It's an opportunity to work against someone else and work with our receivers that he's been working very well with right now."
11/21/13 - QB Sam Bradford underwent knee surgery Monday (Nov. 18) to repair a torn ACL suffered on Oct. 20 against Carolina. Rams trainer Reggie Scott accompanied Bradford to Pensacola, Fla., where Dr. James Andrew did the surgery. Scott told coach Jeff Fisher the procedure went "very, very well." Fisher added, "It's a very, very healthy knee considering the circumstances, and so they were pleased."
11/06/13 - QB Sam Bradford had his Tuesday knee surgery delayed so the range of motion can improve. Bradford suffered a torn ACL against Carolina on Oct. 20. Said coach Jeff Fisher, "There was a little bit of swelling from the work that he was doing. Nowadays, the physicians prefer to really strengthen the knee, strengthen the quad area and then, of course, make sure that most of the swelling is down. During some of the rehab, he swelled up a little bit, so we just decided to wait. Nothing to be alarmed about. "The more range of motion (before surgery), the more strength. Back in the old days, they'd cast you for half your life. Now, you come out of the procedure and they're already working the range of motion, so it's different. That's why they're coming back so fast."
10/22/13 - QB Sam Bradford is lost for the season with a torn ACL suffered in Sunday's game against Carolina. Bradford will have surgery in two or three weeks.
09/05/13 - QB Sam Bradford was experiencing congestion, evident in his voice when he talked to the media after practice Wednesday. Bradford said it started Friday and has been "brutal," but noted, "I'm getting better."
