04/09/13 - TE Jeff Cumberland signed his restricted free agent tender with the Jets.
12/19/12 - TE Jeff Cumberland continued his recent strong play on Monday, when he had four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 14-10 loss to the Titans. Cumberland has 11 catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns in his last four games. He had only 18 catches for 226 yards in his first 13 NFL games dating to 2010.
12/10/12 - TE Jeff Cumberland made his only catch of the game Sunday count when he got wide open for a 37-yard gain on 3rd-and-8 from the Jets' 13-yard-line late in the fourth quarter of their 17-10 win over the Jaguars. The catch was the second-longest of Cumberland's career. He had a 39-yard grab against the Patriots on Thanksgiving night.
11/08/12 - TE Jeff Cumberland (wrist) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Cumberland broke his wrist in the first quarter of the Jets' loss to the Patriots on Oct. 21 and sat out the loss to the Dolphins a week later. After getting an additional week of rest thanks to the Jets' bye, Rex Ryan hopes Cumberland will suit up Sunday against the Seahawks.
