2010 CAA FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES)…Devlin, one of the nation’s highest-rated quarterbacks, was outstanding as a senior in 2010 as he completed 261 of 384 passes for 3,032 yards and 22 touchdowns with just three interceptions. He led the nation in pass completion percentage with a mark of .680 and ranked No. 5 in passing rating with a total of 151.64. He threw for over 200 yards nine times and threw four touchdowns passes in a game twice. In just two seasons at Delaware after transferring from Penn State, he threw for 5,696 yards and 38 touchdowns and won 18 games...He was a first team Phil Steele College Football All-American, earned third team Associated Press All-American honors, was the CAA Offensive Player of the Year, and earned a spot on the CoSIDA District 2 All-Academic team as a graduate student in finance. Devlin becomes the sixth Delaware player to earn ECAC Player of the Year honors and the first since current NFL standout quarterback Joe Flacco in 2007...2009: Enjoyed an outsanding first season in a Delaware uniform last fall when he completed 220 of 334 passes for 2,664 yards and 16 touchdowns with nine interceptions and ran for 127 yards and four touchdowns. A Walter Payton Award candidate as the top player in NCAA FCS I football and a CoSIDA Academic All-American candidate, Devlin led all CAA players in total offense per game (253.73) and passing yards per game (242.2) and was second in passing rating (139.12)…2008: Appeared in 10 games as a backup quarterback behind starter Daryll Clark..led team to a record of 11-2, a tie for the Big 10 title, and a berth in the Rose Bowl for head coach Joe Paterno…team was ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation during the season…left the team following the regular season and did not accompany the team to the Rose Bowl…battled for the starting spot before Clark took over just before the season opener…completed 25 of 47 passes for 459 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions and also ran for two touchdowns on the season…played a pivotal role in a mid-season 13-6 win over top-ranked Ohio State when he took over for an injured Clark and led the Lions to two scores…2007: Played in three games as a backup as a redshirt freshman…saw action in games vs. Florida International, Wisconsin, and Temple…threw only pass for an incomplete vs. FIU….team went 9-4 and won the Alamo Bowl under Paterno…2006: Redshirted at Penn State.

09/06/12 - QB Pat Devlin was made the team's third quarterback because of the David Garrard release. HBO's Hard Knocks revealed that Devlin is "the teacher's pet" for coach Joe Philbin, who has consistently pointed out he's one of training camp's most improved players.
08/19/12 - QB Pat Devlin, a practice squad player in 2011, completed 13 of 20 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown in Friday night's 23-17 loss to the Panthers.
