Draft Scout A.J. Edds News
03/08/15 - LB A.J. Edds, unrestricted FA update, was brought in late in the season in 2014 only because the Jaguars were so beat up at the linebacker spot they needed able bodies. Edds doesn't seem to fit into the plans for 2015. He didn't show enough in the brief time he got to play to warrant his return.
12/03/14 - LB A.J. Edds was signed to the 53-man roster as the Jaguars placed OT Austin Pasztor on injured reserve with a ruptured Achilles. Edds has spent time with Miami, New England, Indianapolis and the New York Jets since entering the NFL as a fourth-round pick of the Dolphins in 2010.
10/29/14 - LB A.J. Edds was released by the Jets on Tuesday. Edds played in four games for the Jets this season, including the last three. He played 79 special teams snaps. It was the first regular season action for Edds since 2011, when he split time between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.
10/28/14 - LB A.J. Edds was waived by the Dolphins Tuesday (Oct. 28).
09/11/14 - LB A.J. Edds (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Edds was the only Jets player injured in their season-opening 19-14 win over the Raiders. Edds played on special teams in his first NFL game since 2011.
