11/20/17 - RT Marcus Gilbert will miss the next four games after being suspended for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
In a statement, general manager said, "We are disappointed that Marcus Gilbert has been suspended four games for using performance-enhancing substances. He will not appeal the NFL's decision. The suspension is effective immediately, and he will not be permitted in the building until after the suspension has concluded following our game on Dec. 17."
Gilbert had previously missed five games because of a hamstring injury.
11/08/17 - T Marcus Gilbert was a full participant and did not appear on the injury report Wednesday. He missed the final two games before the off week with a hamstring injury.
11/06/17 - T Marcus Gilbert, who missed five games in the first half of the season with a nagging hamstring injury, returned to practice Monday and is hopeful he can play against the Colts.
Gilbert injured the hamstring in the second game of the season against the Vikings. He came back for the Chiefs game, but aggravated the injury and missed the final two games before the Steelers' off week.
10/25/17 - T Marcus Gilbert, who missed the Bengals game with a hamstring injury, did not practice. Gilbert has missed four of the past five games due to the hamstring injury.
10/18/17 - RT Marcus Gilbert did not practice Wednesday and is not expected to play against the Bengals. Gilbert reinjured his hamstring in the second series against Kansas City and did not return.
The injury kept him out of the previous three games.
