 Draft Scout Lance Kendricks News
12/24/12 - TE Lance Kendricks scored on an 80-yard touchdown play, the longest reception in franchise history by a tight end. The record had been held by Leon Clarke, who had a 70-yard touchdown catch in 1957. Kendricks had four receptions for 119 yards, the first 100-yard game of his career.
11/26/12 - TE Lance Kendricks scored on a 37-yard pass play and his blocking is one of the things that led to the recent release of FB Brit Miller. "He's really improved," coach Jeff Fisher said of Kendricks. "He's very, very strong at the point of attack. That's why we're using some of the wham blocks on the defensive linemen. He's very effective there. Then, he's getting open, he's completing the catches and he's running after the catch. It's good to see him progress like that."
11/23/12 - TE Lance Kendricks (knee), who did not practice Wednesday, worked on a limited basis Thursday. He is expected to play Sunday.
11/22/12 - TE Lance Kendricks did not practice Wednesday, and coach Jeff Fisher said he "rested." In reality, Kendricks was listed on the injury report with a knee injury.
10/05/12 - TE Lance Kendricks scored the first points of the game for the Rams, his first NFL touchdown. "He's been playing very well," coach Jeff Fisher said. "His blocking, I think that goes unnoticed, but I was happy that he was able to make that catch. He made a big catch for us last week to keep a drive alive down the middle part of the field, so he's coming on. (Tight ends coach) Rob's (Boras) working with him, doing a good job with him. It's hard to take him off the field because of his ability."
