10/10/09 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: RB Emmanuel Moody - With QB Tim Tebow potentially out, the Florida coaching staff may need to turn to Moody to run between the tackles. Moody is Florida's biggest back outside of Tebow.
09/19/09 - Florida coach Urban Meyer said he has not given up on sophomore running back Emmanuel Moody. Moody, a much-hyped transfer from USC, fumbled on his only carry of the game against Troy in the second quarter. He didn't appear the rest of the game. Meyer said Moody also was dealing with a slight injury last Saturday. "Nothing to keep him out of the game," Meyer said. "He's really down. But he's fine. He came out and practiced (Sunday night). He's a person that wants to do well. He won the starting job for the Tennessee game last year. He was the starting tailback and then he got hurt. The next two kids (Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey) came in and played well. "(Moody) is a guy that's been running hard this year. He showed up at training camp and sprained his ankle and was out two weeks. His whole world is carrying that football and playing at Florida... I certainly haven't lost confidence in him. He's going to get it right."
09/14/09 - STILL NEEDS WORK: On a wet day, Florida had issues holding onto the ball. Running back Emmanuel Moody fumbled the ball away to Troy during a rainy first half. Quarterback Tim Tebow also fumbled after a sack when Troy defensive end Cameron Sheffield beat Florida tackle Matt Patchan on the left side. In all, Florida had five fumbles, losing three.
09/04/09 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: RB Emmanuel Moody missed the first week of fall practices with a sprained ankle. But since his return, he's impressed coaches with his tough running between the tackles. Florida's biggest running back, the 6-0, 210-pound Moody could wind up being used more in the I-formation schemes that coaches have experimented with this summer as a change of pace to the spread offense.
11/28/08 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: RB Emmanuel Moody is coming off his first 100-yard game as a Gator and may be counted on for some tough runs inside in the second half.
