 Draft Scout Jerrell Powe News
09/27/12 - NT Jerrell Powe is not officially the Chiefs' starter at nose tackle in their base 3-4 defensive scheme. But against New Orleans, he took every snap when the base was on the field, which was about 40 percent of the plays. In his second year out of Mississippi, Powe is big and very strong, but must continue to improve in his play recognition before head coach Romeo Crennel will make him No. 1 on the depth chart.
