Post-Draft Outlook:BEST PICK: Cornerback Patrick Robinson -- Even though the Saints' starters are set with Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter, and with backups Randall Gay and Malcolm Jenkins, Robinson could have an impact because of his speed and ability to play special teams.
A closer look at the Saints' picks: Round 1/32 -- Patrick Robinson, CB, 5-11, 190, Florida State: In a draft deep in cornerbacks, the Saints felt like they couldn't pass on a chance to add more depth here. With 4.38 speed, he should also help on special teams. - by The Sports Xchange

08/22/16 - CB Patrick Robinson left last Saturday's game versus Baltimore late in the first quarter with a groin injury and did not return. Robinson will be listed as day-to-day for practice. His status for Saturday night's contest with Philadelphia and the final preseason game at Cincinnati remains in doubt.
03/23/16 - CB Patrick Robinson, who became an unrestricted free agent with the Chargers March 9, agreed to terms with the Colts Wednesday (March 23).
Robinson will join his third team in three years. The Colts did not release contract terms, but NFL.com reported that it's a three-year deal.
Last season with the San Diego Chargers, Robinson played in 16 games and totaled 49 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, eight passes defensed and one interception.
The six-year NFL veteran is expected to replace Greg Toler, who is a free agent, in the Colts' secondary.
"We've been interested in Patrick since early in free agency and we're glad it finally came together," Colts general manager Ryan Grigson said. "We have some strong ties on our coaching staff with him so that familiarity is always a plus. He is a versatile, experienced and steady corner that gives us immediate help opposite Vontae (Davis).
"He was a fit on a number of levels in regards to overall skill, but also adds some strong intangibles. We're happy with this addition to our team."
Robinson, a first-round draft pick in 2010 by New Orleans, has played in 74 career games and started 43 with the Saints and the Chargers. He has 234 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, 54 passes defensed, 10 interceptions, two forced fumbles, 10 special-teams tackles and two blocked kicks.
