Post-Draft Outlook:
COULD SURPRISE: Safety Myron Rolle: The Titans had already taken Robert Johnson at safety, but with the Rhodes Scholar from Florida State still there at the end of Round 6, they could not resist. Rolle, who has aspirations of being a doctor and/or politician, should be a quick study in the playbook and might challenge for a starting spot in 2011 with Chris Hope a free agent after this season.

A closer look at the Titans' picks: Round 6/207 -- Myron Rolle, S, 6-2, 215, Florida State, Rhodes Scholar who spent '09 in England, Rolle has the smarts and athleticism to be a steal, if the year off doesn't hurt. - by The Sports Xchange

 Draft Scout Myron Rolle News
08/26/10 - Ss Myron Rolle and Robert Johnson have not shown up too often when it comes to playmaking in training camp. But that's not to say the Titans aren't pleased with them. Coach Jeff Fisher said the two rookie have been doing things right, but don't have much to show for it yet. The players admit it has been a bit frustrating. "I have been frustrated a little bit, but the coaches say just keep doing your assignment, and it'll come," Johnson said. "When I was at Utah, it was similar at the beginning of my senior year. I wasn't getting any type of plays that were coming to me, and I was frustrated and wanted to do other people's jobs. That's what I'm learning right now, just keep doing my job and eventually it will come around." Rolle agrees, saying, "I feel I'm progressing pretty well. I'm learning and I'm trying to do what the coaches expect of me, being fast, physical and strong."
06/15/10 - S Myron Rolle, a sixth-round pick, agreed to a four-year deal reportedly worth around $1.7979 million. It includes a signing bonus just under $79,000 and base salaries of $320,000, $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000, according to the National Football Post. Rolle, the Rhodes Scholar from Florida State, made his first impact in the Nashville area last month, donating $1,000 each to two different agencies helping with flood relief in the Middle Tennessee area. Rolle made the donation through his foundation, and the move is even more impressive, considering he did it before his contract was finalized. "I'm not rich. I'm not crazy wealthy. This foundation has just started, but I wanted offer $1,000 each to the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund and the Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund. We felt it was very pertinent to help in the community and this is my first way of doing so," Rolle said. Rolle recently returned after traveling to back to England to take his finals at Oxford in the first week of June.
