Draft Scout Andy Dalton News
10/08/15 - QB Andy Dalton's start to this season has drawn statistical comparisons to Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers and the Patriots' Tom Brady. Dalton, who has passed for 1,187 yards and nine touchdowns with just one interception, is deflecting the noise. "That's one thing I heard early on playing: Could be college, could be high school, whatever it is, the quarterback gets a lot of light when things are going well and he gets a lot of blame when things aren't going well," Dalton said. Dalton has also been sacked only twice through four weeks and was barely touched in last week's win over Kansas City. Dalton has been showing his appreciation by picking up the dinner check for his offensive line on several occasions already this season. "We've gone out a couple times," he said. "They deserve it. I mean, we went out last week, so it worked."
09/30/15 - QB Andy Dalton is taking charge in the huddle and on the sidelines and managing the offense like an experienced veteran should. On Sunday, he made a few Dalton-like mistakes: an overthrow for an interception and a sack-fumble that was returned for a touchdown by the Ravens. But it was how he responded following those miscues. Dalton tossed an 80-yard strike to A.J. Green following the fumble and with 1:46 remaining checked off at the line before finding Green for a seven-yard game-winner.

09/01/15 - QB Andy Dalton, who played just one series Saturday because of soreness in his neck, said he is still a little sore but was moving around the locker room with a smile Monday and with no visible problems. He and most of the other starters aren't expected to play Thursday at Indianapolis.
