Draft Scout Andy Dalton News
11/24/14 - QB Andy Dalton threw his first road interception since Dec. 1, 2013, when his third-quarter pass intended for A.J. Green was picked off by Houston cornerback Johnathan Joseph and returned 60 yards for the Texans' only touchdown.
11/23/14 - QB Andy Dalton completed 24 of 35 attempts for 233 yards and a touchdown (with an interception) to earn a victory Sunday in his hometown. Dalton, a product of Katy High School just west of Houston, played poorly in a pair of postseason losses at NRG Stadium in 2011 and '12, completing 41 of 72 attempts for 384 yards and four interceptions. "Hopefully now that all can be over the hump," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said.
10/26/14 - QB Andy Dalton passed for 266 yards and scored two rushing TDs in Sunday's win over Baltimore. But it was another case of good Andy, bad Andy, as Dalton threw an interception and lost a fumble to spark a Ravens comeback. But, as head coach Marvin Lewis says, among Dalton's best qualities is his ability to overcome adversity. "He can block it out and go," Lewis said. Dalton engineered a 10-play, 80-yard drive that culminated with his 1-yard QB sneak to rescue a victory for the Bengals.
10/19/14 - QB Andy Dalton posted his lowest passer rating of the season, 55.4 He completed just 18 of 38 passes for 126 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. The last time he had a lower passer rating was Nov. 10, 2013, in an overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Dalton's 126 passing yards were a season low and his fewest since posting 93 yards against Cleveland on Nov. 17, 2013.
10/06/14 - QB Andy Dalton was sacked for the first time this season, but had an efficient evening despite the blowout loss, throwing for 204 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. His passer rating of 117.4 was the highest of his career in a loss.
