 Draft Scout Stefan Logan News
12/28/12 - KR-PR Stefan Logan has been benched for the final game of the season. He said Thursday he will not be returning kicks or punts against the Bears. Joique Bell is expected to return kicks and Mike Thomas will handle the punt returns.
12/27/12 - KR-PR Stefan Logan practiced as the primary returner as usual Wednesday, but there is a chance he could be replaced Sunday. Joique Bell was also handling kickoffs and Mike Thomas punts on Wednesday.
12/24/12 - Returner Stefan Logan's time in Detroit may be just about up. He made two bad decisions on kickoffs Saturday and then lost track of where he was on the field and downed a punt at the 4-yard line. "As coaches, it's our job to put players in position to make plays," Schwartz said. "It's the players' job to make plays. But then it also reaches a point that if players don't make plays then it's the coaches' job to put different players in place there. During an NFL season there's not a lot of opportunity to do that but we'll certainly look at everything."
12/16/12 - PR Stefan Logan muffed a punt that led to the Cardinals first touchdown, but he wasn't to blame. Pat Lee, who was entangled with a Cardinals player, rolled into Logan as he was approaching the ball.
11/20/12 - KR-PR Stefan Logan continues to handle all the return chores, but for how long? The Lions rank last in kickoff returns, with an 18.6-yard average and 14th in punt returns (9.6).
