 Draft Scout Chad Hall News
03/11/10 - WR Chad Hall signed a three-year deal with the Eagles. A three-year letterman at the Air Force Academy, Hall (5-8, 180) was a triple threat in his college career at running back, receiver and returner. He was named the Mountain West Conference offensive player of the year as a senior in 2007 after becoming the only player in the nation to lead his team in rushing yards (1,478), receiving yards (524 on 50 catches) and all-purpose yards (2,683), while adding 16 total touchdowns (15 rushing, one receiving). The 23-year-old Hall has spent the past two years serving as a second lieutenant at Hill Air Force Base in Salt Lake City, UT
02/13/08 - PRO POTENTIAL: RB/WR Chad Hall was touted as an All-America candidate after becoming the Falcons' most indispensable player. The diminutive Hall was the lone player in the country to lead his team in rushing yards (1,415), receiving yards (488) and all-purpose yards (2,504) in the regular season. Air Force coach Troy Calhoun said Hall has "unique skills." Asked if Hall could make the NFL, Calhoun said: "It would be kind of interesting to see. You think back to the New York Giants when they had Dave Meggett, who was a third-down guy and a returner."
01/05/08 - PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Chad Hall - The do-everything senior was the only player in the country to lead his team in rushing yards, receiving yards and all-purpose yards. Hall, who was moved from halfback to "Z" receiver a hybrid running back/receiver position in this offense in the spring, broke school records for rushing yards in a game and all-purpose yards in a game, season and career. Following two straight losses that dropped Air Force to 3-2, Falcons coach Troy Calhoun decided he needed to get the ball in Hall's hands more often. His late-season push helped earn him Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors.
12/31/07 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: WR/RB Chad Hall did it all for Air Force in 2007. The senior receiver/running back/kick returner led the Falcons in rushing yards (1,415), receiving yards (488) and all-purpose yards (2,504). During the final seven games of the season, when the Falcons went 6-1, Hall compiled 1,257 rushing yards.
12/05/07 - 2007 All-Mountain West Conference First Team: RB Chad Hall led the conference in rushing with 1,415 yards and set the school record for rushing yards with 275 and all-purpose yards with 333 vs. Army earlier this season. A third-team All-American by Rivals.com, Hall was the conference leader in all-purpose yards with an average of 208.7 which ranked third nationally. Hall is also the only player in the nation to lead his team in rushing and receiving. - Air Force Sports
