 Draft Scout Allen Barbre News
11/13/17 - OL Allen Barbre started at right tackle for Denver in place of Menelik Watson, who went on injured reserve last week.
11/08/17 - LG Allen Barbre could move back over to right tackle in place of the injured Menelik Watson. Barbre started for Watson in Week 7 against the Chargers and struggled in the 21-0 loss.
07/26/17 - OL Allen Barbre was released by the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday. The surprise move comes one day before the first full-team training camp practice and hours after offensive coordinator Frank Reich said second-year player Isaac Seumalo would enter training camp as the starting left guard. "Isaac's the starter and then there's just competition from there," Reich told reporters. "That's the great thing about training camp, the great thing about this business, it's just so stinking competitive. It's what the guys love about it. It's what we love about it, so again it'll play itself out."
07/26/17 - OL Allen Barbre was initially going to be released, but after the Philadelphia Eagles announced they had waived the veteran offensive lineman, they instead were able to trade him to the Denver Broncos for a 2019 conditional draft pick. The Eagles did not get much in return for Barbre, but they still got something for a player they planned to waive anyway.
12/28/16 - LG Allen Barbre, who has a hamstring injury that has bothered him much of the season, didn't practice Wednesday. He probably will be able to play Sunday.
