Draft Scout Allen Bailey News
10/19/16 - DE Allen Bailey tore his right pectoral muscle in last Sunday's Game against Oakland and will undergo surgery next week. Chiefs trainer Rick Burkholder said Wednesday that the tendon holding the muscle to the arm detached during the game. Bailey was placed on injured reserve Tuesday along with teammate Justin March-Lillard (hand). Burkholder said he will be in treatment and rehab "until we figure out when they can return."
10/17/16 - DE Allen Bailey (arm) suffered an arm injury in Sunday's victory in Oakland and had to come out of the game. Bailey left the game in the first half after 12 defensive snaps and did not return. His status for this coming Sunday against New Orleans is not clear.
12/10/15 - DE Allen Bailey (calf) practiced again Thursday and it appears he'll return to the field after missing four games because of a calf injury he suffered in a November practice.
12/09/15 - DE Allen Bailey (calf) was practicing with the Chiefs on Wednesday and appears closer to returning to the field after missing the last four games because of a calf injury he suffered in a November practice. Bailey was set to play in Oakland, but poor field conditions limited him in pregame work and he was held out.
12/07/15 - DE Allen Bailey (calf) went out for pregame warmups in Oakland with the intention to play against the Raiders. But the Chiefs made him one of their seven inactive players. Bailey has missed four games with a calf injury that he suffered during practice. "He tried to go but he couldn't push off," coach Andy Reid said. Another factor was the wet and poor turf conditions at the O.co Coliseum.
