03/24/17 - OT Byron Bell signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys on Friday. Bell missed the entire 2016 season after dislocating his ankle during an offseason practice while with the Tennessee Titans. He started all 16 games for the club in 2015 -- seven at left guard, eight at right tackle and one at left tackle -- after signing as a free agent.
06/03/16 - OL Byron Bell was placed on injured reserve Friday (June 3), officially ending his season. Bell dislocated his left ankle during the Titans' first day of organized team activities on May 24.
Bell, who ran with the first team offense at right tackle to open OTAs, seemed to catch his leg in the ground and twisted, causing a gruesome injury with his foot pointed in the wrong direction. He underwent season-ending surgery.
Bell was the Titans' primary right tackle last season, starting eight games there after spending the first seven games of the year as the team's starting left guard. He also played left tackle in the season finale.
