10/06/14 - OLB Chris Carter was waived by Indianapolis on Monday. Carter had been signed by the Colts as a free agent on Sept. 10 and played in one game with the team this season. He had been originally drafted in the fifth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011.

09/10/14 - LB Chris Carter was signed by the Colts Tuesday (Sept. 9). Carter, 6-1, 248 pounds, has played in 29 games (four starts) with the Pittsburgh Steelers over the past three seasons (2011-13) since being selected by the team in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Fresno State. In 2013, Carter registered career highs of 13 games played (one start) and five special teams tackles.
