12/17/12 - RB Daniel Herron got his first NFL carries (three for eight yards) and also got the Bengals' first blocked punt since 2007, when he blocked a Mat McBriar punt during the first quarter.
12/09/12 - RB Dan Herron played in his first NFL game. He played on special teams and got a piece of a punt during the first half.
12/07/12 - RB Daniel Herron is expected to see most of his action on special teams after being signed to the active roster on Wednesday.
05/23/12 - RB Dan Herron, a sixth-round pick out of Ohio State, signed with the Bengals. Terms were not disclosed.
Herron averaged 4.9 yards per carry during his Buckeye career, and is 10th in school history with 2,869 career rushing yards.
