11/28/12 - DE Vinny Curry finally got a chance to play Monday night against Carolina. After being a healthy deactivation for the Eagles' first 10 games, the second-round pick dressed against the Panthers, played 20 snaps and registered an impressive five tackles. "It's something that, you know, you've been playing football all of your life to get to this point," said Curry, who grew up an Eagles fan in Neptune, N.J. With the release of Jason Babin, Curry almost certainly will be activated for the final five games and get ample playing time as the team tries to evaluate him. "It means a lot knowing I'm going to play," Curry said. "The last 21/2 months have been tough. I practice hard every week so that when I get to the games, I am mentally prepared and physically prepared. That kind of preparation can prepare you for the game."
