09/11/12 - LT Elvis Fisher went down with a knee injury in the first half, but Missouri already had a contingency plan in place for such an event. About two weeks ago, the Tigers coaching staff began a complicated set of actions in case Fisher, who missed last season with a knee injury, was injured. First, RT Justin Britt moved to left tackle. C Mitch Morse moved from the middle of the line to right tackle, filling in for Britt. Finally, redshirt freshman Brad McNulty came in at center, receiving his first meaningful playing time at Missouri. - The Sports Xchange
09/08/12 - Missouri offensive tackle Elvis Fisher was carted off with an apparent right leg injury in the second quarter of the school's SEC debut against No. 7 Georgia. The senior was hurt in a pileup on a running play in Saturday night's game and left the field with help from trainers favoring the leg. After time on the table behind the bench, he was carted off. The school was awaiting word from medical personnel. Fisher was granted a sixth year of eligibility after missing last season with surgery to repair the patellar tendon in his left knee. He started every game from 2008-10. - AP Sports
