He had 3 tackles against Oregon State and California and 2 versus Virginia, Ohio State, Oregon and Stanford (1.5 for losses).  Draft Scout News
08/15/10 - DE Everson Griffen (fourth round) is not only behind Ray Edwards at left end but also Brian Robison, who is used as a situational player. Griffen did not stand out too much in camp but the hitting periods were limited.
08/01/10 - DE Everson Griffen (fourth round) is not only behind Ray Edwards at left end but also Brian Robison, who is used as a situational player. Griffen, though, might not be far from getting a chance to at least compete for a starting job because Edwards is expected to be an unrestricted free agent this coming offseason.
07/28/10 - DE Everson Griffen, a fourth-round pick, has signed a four-year deal. It's worth more than $2.33 million, according to FOXSports.com. Griffen had some issue while at Southern Cal but the Vikings like his talent and he could be the long-term solution at left end. Robison, also entering the last year of his contract, would like a bigger role but has pretty much been a situational player so far in his career. Nonetheless, the Vikings value him because he can play end and move inside in nickel packages.

05/03/10 - DE Everson Griffen (4/100), USC: Griffen had a career-high eight sacks last season despite battling turf toe. Vikings feel he can play either end or move inside to the 3-technique on passing downs.
