10/15/13 - CB Chris Harris played after passing the battery of post-concussion tests last week. Harris led the defense with 11 total tackles, but did not start due to Champ Bailey's return from a sprained foot.

10/10/13 - CB Chris Harris has started in place of Champ Bailey the last five weeks, working as the left cornerback in the base defense and moving inside to slot cornerback when the Broncos go into their nickel package. But his concussion Sunday forced the Broncos to use Tony Carter and Kayvon Webster extensively in the second half.
Harris did not practice Wednesday, but was on the practice field and in a helmet as he watched his teammates work.
"I just took a hard hit. I'm just following protocol," said Harris. "They take concussions pretty seriously now, so I'm just taking it day by day but I feel great. I mean, as soon as they get me cleared, I'll be ready to go."
Harris said he had complete recollection of the hit that sent him to the locker room late in the first half.
"I would say I took a hard hit. But I could still remember everything," said Harris. "So, it wasn't like a severe concussion. You know those cartoons where they just got those birds around their heads? That's how it was.
"I just took a hard hit. I'm just following protocol. They take concussions pretty seriously now, so I'm just taking it day by day but I feel great. I mean, as soon as they get me cleared, I'll be ready to go."
Harris expects to know by Friday whether he will play against Jacksonville.
