 Draft Scout Chris Harris News
08/05/14 - CB Chris Harris returned to practice on July 30, but is being eased back into work as he completes recovery from a torn ACL. Harris was limited to individual and walk-through work until Aug. 4, when he took part in a seven-on-seven period for the first time since his injury Jan. 12.
07/30/14 - CB Chris Harris practiced Wednesday for the first time since tearing his ACL against the Chargers on Jan. 12. On July 28, Harris passed his six-month examination with Dr. James Andrews, who performed the reconstructive surgery in the winter. Harris was limited to individual drills and the walk-through period Wednesday.
07/28/14 - CB Chris Harris met with Dr. James Andrews on Monday and is considered ahead of schedule in rehabbing from a torn ACL in his left knee. Harris was cleared to return to practice on a limited basis in non-contact drills, but he is still on the active/physically unable to perform list. "We haven't put a timetable on it, he is day to day," coach John Fox said. "Today he did not participate and he still remains on PUP." Harris is expected to return by the second or third week of the regular season. "It went well, it couldn't have gone any better," a source said. "It was definitely a good checkup, very positive."
07/24/14 - CB Chris Harris Jr. (knee) was declared active/physically unable to perform by the Broncos Wednesday (July 23).
07/24/14 - CB Chris Harris Jr. began training camp on the physically unable to perform list. Harris spent the offseason recovering from a partially torn ACL suffered in a playoff win Jan. 12. He has his six-month checkup with Dr. James Andrews on July 28; if he passes, he is expected to begin practicing.
