Draft Scout Jeremy Kerley News
08/06/14 - WR Jeremy Kerley missed the Aug. 5 practice due to illness but is expected to play in the Jets' preseason opener on Aug. 7. Kerley has led the Jets in both receptions and receiving yards in each of the last two seasons.
12/06/13 - WR Jeremy Kerley returned to practice this week and was listed as probable Friday, making it likely he will return to the lineup for the first time since suffering a dislocated left elbow against the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 3. Despite missing four games this season, Kerley continues to lead the Jets with 28 catches for 347 yards.
12/04/13 - WR Jeremy Kerley (dislocated left elbow) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Kerley has missed the Jets' last three games -- all losses -- with the injury, which he suffered against the Saints on Nov. 3. But Kerley worked out before the Jets' 23-3 loss to the Dolphins last Sunday and said Monday he planned to play this week against the Raiders. Despite missing four games this season, Kerley continues to lead the Jets with 28 catches for 347 yards.
12/03/13 - WR Jeremy Kerley (dislocated left elbow) missed his third straight game Sunday but said Monday he expects to return when the Jets host the Raiders this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Kerley warmed up before the Jets' 23-3 loss to the Dolphins but didn't receive medical clearance to play. Despite missing four games -- he was sidelined against the Patriots on Sept. 12 due to a concussion -- Kerley still leads the Jets with 28 catches for 347 yards.
11/27/13 - WR Jeremy Kerley (dislocated left elbow) participated in practice Wednesday, when he wore a regular jersey instead of the red non-contact jersey he sported last week. Kerley, who was injured against the Saints on Nov. 3, is still wearing a wrap on the left elbow and isn't sure if he'll be able to play when the Jets host the Dolphins on Sunday. Despite missing three games this year, one due to a concussion in September, Kerley still leads the Jets with 28 catches for 347 yards. His presence Sunday would provide another valuable safety valve for struggling quarterback Geno Smith.
