Draft Scout Jeremy Kerley News
09/28/15 - WR Jeremy Kerley finally recorded his first receptions of the season Sunday, when he had six catches for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 24-17 loss to the Eagles. Kerley played just one offensive snap in each of the first two games of the season before being pressed into duty Sunday, when the usual No. 2 WR Eric Decker was inactive due to a knee injury.
09/14/15 - WR Jeremy Kerley played just one offensive snap in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Browns. It was further confirmation that Kerley, who led the Jets in receiving in 2012 and 2013, has fallen into the doghouse of first-year head coach Todd Bowles. Asked about Kerley's role next week on Monday, Bowles said, "I'll see when the game plan comes up." Kerley did have two punt returns for 13 yards on Sunday.
09/11/15 - WR Jeremy Kerley (concussion) was listed as probable to play vs. the Browns.
09/09/15 - WR Jeremy Kerley (concussion) was a full participant in practice Wednesday and appears likely to play in the Jets' season opener on Sunday. Kerley was injured during the Jets' second preseason game on Aug. 22 and missed the final two exhibition contests. He likely lost his starting job as well to second-year WR Quincy Enunwa but should still remain the Jets' punt returner.
08/23/15 - WR Jeremy Kerley suffered a concussion in the Jets' Friday preseason game against the Falcons. Kerley, who suffered a concussion with the Jets in 2013, had two catches for 38 yards against the Falcons. He is competing to be the Jets' No. 3 receiver behind Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker.
