 Draft Scout Ryan Kerrigan News
01/02/17 - LB Ryan Kerrigan had the bone in his right index finger poke through the skin in Sunday's 19-10 loss to the New York Giants. Kerrigan also has a hyper-extended left elbow and a sore knee, but says he likely won't need surgery before OTAs in May.
12/20/16 - LB Ryan Kerrigan sustained an elbow sprain during the Monday game against Carolina.
12/20/16 - LB Ryan Kerrigan (sprained elbow) is listed as day-to-day.
12/12/16 - LB Ryan Kerrigan was the most dominant player on the field when the Redskins last faced the Eagles as he led Washington to a 27-20 victory. Kerrigan had 1 1/2 sacks and several pressures as he disrupted the Eagles' offense all day long. Kerrigan wasn't nearly as dominant on Sunday, except for one play -- perhaps the biggest play of the game. Kerrigan only had two tackles and one sack, but that lone sack came on the Eagles' final play of the game and it preserved the Redskins' victory. The Eagles had the ball on Washington's 14-yard line with 21 seconds left to play when Kerrigan got past reserve tackle Matt Tobin -- who was playing because of injuries -- and blind-sided QB Carson Wentz, who fumbled the ball away. "A lot of his plays don't come on a stat sheet," Gruden said of Kerrigan, who now has 11 sacks in 13 games. "He's a major impact, he changes games. He doesn't get the publicity that a lot of these guys get, but he's a very important part of our football team."
12/12/16 - LB Ryan Kerrigan has 19 forced fumbles since entering the NFL in 2011. That is tied for the second most by any active NFL player in those six seasons.
