 Draft Scout Ryan Kerrigan News
01/09/13 - There was plenty of pressure on the smooth Ryan Kerrigan, who had excelled as a rookie opposite 2009-10 Pro Bowl pick Brian Orakpo in 2011, to step up and be "the guy" once his partner went down with a torn left pectoral in Week 2 and he responded with 8.5 sacks, two FFs, an INT and a FR while being credited with 62 tackles.
12/28/12 - OLB Ryan Kerrigan needs 1.5 sacks to join teammate Brian Orakpo and former Redskin Andre Carter as the only Washington players to reach double digits in sacks during any of the last 10 seasons.
12/24/12 - OLB Ryan Kerrigan didn't have a sack and wasn't involved in a turnover as the Redskins beat the Giants, Baltimore and Cleveland the previous three weeks. So the second-year man took it upon himself to have more of an impact in Philadelphia this past Sunday. "I knew coming into this game that I'd have to be a difference maker," Kerrigan said after recording two sacks and forcing a fumble in Washington's 27-20 victory. "What I did today's got to be an every-week thing. That can't just be a sometimes thing. I've got to keep that up."
12/23/12 - OLB Ryan Kerrigan's two sacks gave him a team-high 8.5, topping the 6.5 he recorded as a rookie in 2011.
11/28/12 - OLB Ryan Kerrigan needs one sack against the Giants to match the 7.5 he recorded as a rookie in 2011.
