10/28/14 - LG Ron Leary could be out for the short term with a pulled groin. Though tests ruled out a tear in his groin, according to head coach Jason Garrett, the pulled muscle will need time to heal. Mackenzy Bernadeau replaced Leary on Monday night and will likely continue to replace him in the starting lineup. Bernadeau has started 27 games for the Cowboys the past two seasons.
08/05/14 - G Ronald Leary passed his physical August 1 and was cleared for practice.
07/25/14 - G Ron Leary was placed on the physically unable to perform list to start training camp because of a strained hamstring suffered during a player-driven conditioning run on Monday at the team's Valley Ranch headquarters. Coach Jason Garrett decided against doing a conditioning test to start training camp in an effort to avoid injuries. The players did one on their own and Leary was injured. He said it's not serious and he will return early next week. Leary is competing with Mackenzy Bernadeau for the starting spot at left guard.
