 Draft Scout Joe Lefeged News
01/08/13 - S Joe Lefeged finished up the 2012 season back where he finished his 2011 rookie season, starting at strong safety for the Colts. Lefeged had become Indy's best special teams player early in the year and was used as a gunner on punt and kickoff coverage units. He figured that's where he'd stay all year. But injuries to S Tom Zbikowski put Lefeged back on defense. He forced a fumble against the Ravens and had a pair of tackles on the day.
01/02/13 - S Joe Lefeged continues to do a pretty good job as he fills in for injured Tom Zbikowski at strong safety. Lefeged has registered 25 tackles this year, mostly over the last half of the season. He had an interception and four kickoff return against the Ravens on Dec. 11, 2011.
12/24/12 - S Joe Lefeged started for Tom Zbikowski. Lefeged recovered a Charles fumble late in the second quarter. The recovery for Lefeged was the first of his career.
12/21/12 - S Joe Lefeged (knee) fully practiced Wednesday and Thursday. Lefeged is expected to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.
12/19/12 - S Joe Lefeged (knee) fully practiced Wednesday. Lefeged is expected to be available to play against the Chiefs on Sunday.
