05/25/16 - RT Phil Loadholt appears to have the early edge at right tackle, although Andre Smith will be given ample opportunities to overtake the starting job. Loadholt missed all of last season because of a torn Achilles' tendon and five games in 2014 because of a torn pectoral muscle. He is working with the first unit during OTAs this week.
08/20/15 - T Phil Loadholt had his season-ending surgery on his left Achilles' tendon on Tuesday. He's been placed on injured reserve.
08/18/15 - T Phil Loadholt, as expected, was placed on reserve/injured by the Vikings Tuesday (Aug. 18). Loadholt fell to the ground Sunday on the second play of the Vikings' game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was carted off with a torn Achilles tendon.
