12/04/13 - WR Jeff Maehl did not practice Wednesday. He suffered a concussion in Sunday's game against Arizona and it's not known whether he'll be cleared in time to play against the Lions this week.
12/02/13 - WR Jeff Maehl appeared to suffer a concussion in Sunday's game. But coach Chip Kelly said he had no knowledge of that Monday.
10/16/13 - WR Jeff Maehl is the team's No. 4 wide receiver, jumping over Damaris Johnson. Maehl played a season-high 12 snaps last week against the Bucs.
10/09/13 - WR Jeff Maehl played a season-high 20 snaps last week against the Giants. He didn't have any catches, but had two receptions, including an eight-yard touchdown catch, the week before against the Broncos. Maehl has moved ahead of Damaris Johnson as the team's No. 4 wide receiver and has replaced the team's No. 2 wideout, Riley Cooper, in some personnel packages.
Maehl played for Eagles coach Chip Kelly at Oregon.
"As Jeff continues to grasp what we're doing (his playing time will increase)," Kelly said. "The thing about Jeff is there is versatility for him, and he's not just an outside receiver. He's an outside receiver, an inside receiver, and a good special teams player. That's why we picked him up."
09/01/13 - WR Jeff Maehl made the team despite not even being signed until late in camp. Maehl played for Chip Kelly at Oregon. His familiarity with the offense was a big reason he was able to make a quick transition. He was targeted nine times in the Eagles' final preseason game against the Jets and had eight catches.
