Post-Draft Outlook:
A closer look at the Eagles' picks: Round 2/53 -- LeSean McCoy, RB, 5-11, 204, Pittsburgh...With Brian Westbrook turning 30 in September -- he was slowed by a knee injury last season -- the Eagles needed to get a back who could step in immediately and share the load with Westbrook. McCoy is a fast, explosive runner who can catch the ball out of the backfield. The biggest concern with him is his blocking; if he can't block well enough to protect the quarterback, he won't get on the field. - by The Sports Xchange

12/24/12 - RB LeSean McCoy returned to the lineup after missing four games with a concussion, and had 122 yards from scrimmage. His 22 touches were his most since Week 4.
12/24/12 - RB LeSean McCoy played Sunday after missing four games with a concussion. He showed no ill effects, getting 22 touches and gaining 122 yards from scrimmage.
12/20/12 - RB LeSean McCoy will play Sunday for the first time since suffering a concussion in the first game against the Redskins on November 18. He's missed four games. While McCoy has been cleared to play, coach Andy Reid said he likely will limit McCoy's touches. "I'm going to keep a close eye on him," he said. "It won't be a normal workload like you'd see during the season when he's fresh. He's coming off an injury. I understand that, so I'll keep a close eye on him. He'll work in as a starter and then Bryce (Brown) has some valuable experience that he's gained over the last few weeks so we'll get him in there. (Running back) Dion (Lewis), he'll be up too, so he'll have a chance if we need him there."
12/16/12 - RB LeSean McCoy, who has missed the last three games with a concussion, still hasn't been cleared by an independent neurologist. He will get checked out on Tuesday.
