Draft Scout Dezman Moses News
01/11/13 - OLB Dezman Moses was upgraded from limited to full-time status in practice Thursday. The rookie, who has started the last three games on the left side opposite Clay Matthews, has been dealing with a hamstring injury that cropped up after the wild-card playoff win over Minnesota last Saturday. Moses figures to play Saturday night, when the Packers will play at San Francisco in a divisional-round game.
01/10/13 - OLB Dezman Moses had limited involvement in practice Wednesday. The rookie is recovering from a hamstring injury this week, but head coach Mike McCarthy indicated there's little cause for concern about Moses' status for the divisional playoff game at San Francisco on Saturday night. Moses has started the last three games opposite Clay Matthews and played in a rotation with Erik Walden.
12/24/12 - OLB Dezman Moses made his first start on the left side, opposite star Clay Matthews, in the Packers' 55-7 win over Tennessee on Sunday. Moses, an undrafted rookie, had the starting nod over Erik Walden, who has been bothered by an ankle injury but still played Sunday.
11/28/12 - OLB Dezman Moses likely will make a third straight start with Clay Matthews not likely to play again Sunday against Minnesota because of a hamstring injury. Moses, an undrafted rookie, has a sack in each of the last two games and recorded a season-high 11 tackles in the 38-10 loss at the New York Giants last Sunday night.
11/23/12 - OLB Dezman Moses is projected to make his second straight start on the right side, provided Clay Matthews is again ruled out for Sunday night's game at the New York Giants. Matthews, who has been plagued by a recurring hamstring injury since the Nov. 4 win over Arizona before the team's bye week, hasn't practiced this week and is considered by head coach Mike McCarthy to be "doubtful" for a return to the field this week. Moses made an impact in his first pro start in the 24-20 comeback win at Detroit last Sunday with a sack-strip of Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford as part of three tackles recorded in the game.
