10/19/16 - DL Kendall Reyes was signed by the Chiefs on Oct. 18 after they placed starting defensive end Allen Bailey on injured reserve with a shoulder problem suffered in last Sunday's game against Oakland. Reyes is familiar to the Chiefs thanks to his four-year stint with San Diego, where he was a three-year starter at defensive end. The former second-round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft played two games with Washington earlier this season, producing five total tackles. In his 66-game career, he has 13.5 sacks, one interception and 134 total tackles.
09/28/16 - DE Kendall Reyes missed the last two games because of a groin injury, but he returned to practice on Wednesday and could play this Sunday against Cleveland.

Terms were not disclosed, but the deal is worth $2.5 million and could rise to $3.35 million with incentives, according to ESPN.
The 6-4, 300-pound Reyes, 26, is entering his fifth NFL season after originally being selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round (49th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of the University of Connecticut.
Reyes led all San Diego defensive linemen in combined tackles (32) and quarterback hits (11) in 2015. He also had two sacks and an interception.
Reyes has appeared in 64 career regular-season games with 50 starts, compiling 126 tackles, 13.5 sacks, seven passes defensed and one interception for the Chargers from 2012-15. Reyes played in all 16 regular-season games in each of his four seasons with the Chargers and started at least 15 games in each of the last three years.
