10/16/14 - RB Stevan Ridley was placed on reserve/injured by the Patriots Thursday (Oct. 16). Ridley suffered a knee injury on Sunday during the Patriots' 37-22 win over the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, N.J. Ridley was leading the Patriots in rushing in the first six games this year with 340 yards on 94 carries and two touchdowns. Shane Vereen, who has 216 yards rushing this season, will take over bulk of the carries for the offense.
10/13/14 - RB Stevan Ridley reportedly is out for the season with a torn right ACL and MCL suffered in the third quarter Sunday against the Bills. Ridley left Ralph Wilson Stadium on crutches and wearing a knee brace.
10/05/14 - RBs Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen took care of the ground game Sunday night. Ridley ran for 113 yards and the game's first touchdown, his seventh career 100-yard game. Vereen ran for 90 yards on nine carries and caught three passes for 18 yards. New England gained 220 yards on the ground. The Patriots are 39-1 since 2000 when a runner goes for 100 yards.
