04/04/12 - Stephen F. Austin football hosted its annual Pro Day on Tuesday and five seniors participated in the workout in front of eight National Football League scouts. Georgie Bias, Derrick Choice, Romeo Robinson, Brandon Scott, Sean Warren, Willie Watkins and Ben Wells participated. Bias was a 2011 All-American while both Choice and Wells were two-time all-conference selections. Eight NFL scouts, in addition to the media, showed up at Homer Bryce Stadium Tuesday morning to watch the Lumberjacks seniors workout. Among the list of standouts who took part in the pro-timing day were All-American Georgie Bias, two-time All-Southland Conference selections Derrick Choice and Ben Wells. Joining them were Romeo Robinson, Brandon Scott, Sean Warren and Willie Watkins. NFL scouts have beaten a path to Nacogdoches over the past couple of seasons to take a closer look at the Lumberjacks. Most recently Jabara Williams signed an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams in 2011 before playing for the Chicago Bears to end the season. All-American receiver Dominique Edison was a sixth-round draft choice of the Tennessee Titans in 2009, while defensive end Tim Knicky, and receivers Aaron Rhea and Contrevious Parks each signed NFL contracts two seasons ago. - SF Austin football
