He was Arkansas’ lone starting tight end against Kentucky and started along with Davie in a two-tight end set against Chattanooga. For the year, he had five receptions for 94 yards, and was named to the SEC All-Freshmen first team. His 18.8 yards-per-catch average ranked third on the team.

11/04/12 - TE D.J. Williams aggravated a hamstring injury toward the end of the 31-17 win over Arizona on Sunday. The backup didn't have a pass thrown his way in the game.
10/17/12 - TE D.J. Williams was back practicing Wednesday, albeit in a limited role, after he missed the last game because of a hamstring injury he sustained in practice last week. Getting Williams, a capable pass catcher in his second pro season, healthy again would be beneficial to the offense in the event starter Jermichael Finley continues to be hampered by a shoulder injury.
10/15/12 - TE D.J. Williams didn't play Sunday against the Texans because of a hamstring injury he sustained at midweek in practice. Williams, who returned to practice on a limited basis Friday, was questionable for the game.
10/11/12 - TE D.J. Williams was added to the injury report Thursday because of a strained hamstring he suffered toward the end of practice the previous day. He didn't practice Thursday. That leaves his status up in the air for the game at Houston on Sunday night. Williams was in line to possibly have a significant role in the game with injured starter Jermichael Finley iffy to play.
09/03/12 - TE D.J. Williams went through Monday's practice, his first on-field action after he missed the last two preseason games because of an ankle injury.
