 Draft Scout *Sean Smith News
10/22/09 - CB Sean Smith has vowed to knock down a few balls Sunday, especially while he's guarding New Orleans WR Marques Colston, who is 6-foot-4, 225 pounds. Because of Smith's 6-3 frame, he will no doubt draw Colston for much of the afternoon.
09/24/09 - CB Sean Smith held Colts Pro Bowl WR Reggie Wayne to one of this three catches for 37 yards Sunday and nearly caused an intereception that Gibril Wilson dropped before halftime that would've saved the Dolphins three points.
09/17/09 - CBs Sean Smith and Vontae Davis, two rookies, will continue to split playing time until one separates himself from the other. For now, they will play two consecutive series and then switch, with the goal of playing about six series apiece.
09/16/09 - CB Sean Smith will continue to split snaps with CB Vontae Davis until one of the rookies gains a clear competitive edge over the other. Coach Tony Sparano praised both rookies for not making any mental mistakes in their first game.
09/15/09 - RCB Sean Smith started in his first NFL game and played well with two tackles and two pass breakups. He split the game with fellow rookie Vontae Davis, who was excellent in run support with one tackle for a loss.
