 Draft Scout Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie News
01/03/13 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will be an unrestricted free agent in March. He has underachieved in his two seasons with the Eagles and it's uncertain whether they will try to re-sign him.
12/12/12 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had his best game of the season Sunday after getting talked to by head coach Andy Reid about his poor play and lackadaisical effort the week before against Dallas.
12/05/12 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. He is listed with a knee injury.
04/19/12 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's first season with the Eagles was a difficult one. Acquired in a trade with Arizona, he found himself moved inside to slot corner to accommodate Asante Samuel and Nnamdi Asomugha. Rodgers-Cromartie struggled inside. If, as expected, Samuel is traded, Rodgers-Cromartie will move back outside where he played well enough three years ago to earn a Pro Bowl invitation. "All of that is up to someone else," he said of Samuel possibly being traded. "I'm preparing for anything." On his difficulty playing inside, he said: "It was an adjustment at first. I was kind of like, `wow' at the beginning because it's so different. I had never played in the slot. But I never argued and just did what I was supposed to do."
01/02/12 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who started for the second straight game at left cornerback in place of injured Asante Samuel, had a solid game Sunday. He never really got comfortable as the team's slot corner, but played well on the outside, which is where he will play next season, assuming Asante Samuel is traded.
