 Draft Scout Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie News
10/18/17 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was welcomed back by his teammates with open arms Wednesday, a week after he drew what was then an indefinite suspension from head coach Ben McAdoo. McAdoo said it was for multiple incidents regarded as conduct detrimental to the team. Speaking to reporters for the first time since the bizarre sequence of events that led to his unexplained absence from practice last week, Rodgers-Cromartie said it was great to be back with his teammates after their big win against the Broncos, and that he was looking forward to being out there with them this weekend when the team hosts the Seahawks.
10/17/17 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's indefinite suspension for violating team rules lasted all of five days, according to multiple outlets. Rodgers-Cromartie was indefinitely suspended on Thursday following an incident with coach Ben McAdoo. The Pro Bowl selection subsequently sat out Sunday night's 23-10 win over the Denver Broncos, costing him $410,588. He met with McAdoo on Tuesday morning and is expected to return to the team's facility in East Rutherford, N.J. the following day, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
10/15/17 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie missed the Sunday game at Denver after being suspended for abruptly leaving practice earlier this week. Coach Ben McAdoo said he plans to meet with Rodgers-Cromartie and "revisit the situation." Whether Rodgers-Cromartie rejoins the team remains to be seen. "Nothing is set in stone yet," McAdoo said.
10/12/17 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has been suspended indefinitely following a meeting with coach Ben McAdoo on Thursday. The announcement comes a day after McAdoo said that the Pro Bowl cornerback was suspended after he left the facility before practice, but did not divulge a length of time for the ban. Rodgers-Cromartie can be suspended up to four weeks per the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and NFLPA.
10/11/17 - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was suspended after he left the New York Giants' facility and did not practice Wednesday. Head coach Ben McAdoo made the announcement about the 31-year-old Rodgers-Cromartie, who started four of the winless Giants' five games this season. "DRC came in yesterday, we had a conversation that was personal upstairs and he came in today and decided to leave," McAdoo told reporters. "We will suspend him."
