12/19/08 - AP LITTLE ALL-AMERICA SECOND TEAM: Mike Washington, senior, West Chester, has been selected AP Little All-American Second Team for the 2008 college football season as voted on by the Associated Press. The Little All-America Team is comprised of the top players in Division II, III and NAIA. The Philadelphia native ranks third all-time in Division II and sixth across all divisions of college football in career receiving yards (4,715) as well as third in Division II and sixth all-time across all divisions in career touchdown receptions (58). Washington is one of just three players to catch for 1,000 yards in all four years of his college career and the only one to do it at the Division II level or higher. His career receiving yardage total surpassed former NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice’s 4,698 career yards at Mississippi Valley St. - West Chester football

Washington holds one NCAA record, four PSAC marks and seven school standards in his illustrious four-year playing career.
