Draft Scout Jovan Belcher News
09/06/12 - ILB Jovan Belcher came up lame after practice on Wednesday with a groin pull. Belcher did not practice on Thursday, as head coach/coordinator Romeo Crennel pulled him from the work in hopes to see him able to work on Friday. If Belcher can't play, Brandon Siler will replace him in the starting lineup.
03/12/12 - LB Jovan Belcher was tendered a one-year contract offer of $1.927 million by the Chiefs. Belcher can sign an offer sheet with another team, but the Chiefs have the option of matching it and keeping Belcher. If they don't match the offer, Kansas City would receive a second-round draft choice. Belcher, 24, was the team's second-leading tackler last season.
