03/12/15 - S Colt Anderson agreed to terms to stay with the Colts Tuesday (March 10) on one-year, $825,000 contract that includes an $80,000 signing bonus and $180,000 guaranteed.
Anderson was originally signed by the Colts as an unrestricted free agent on April 23, 2014. Last season, he played in 15 games and led the team with 15 special teams tackles. He also tied for the team lead with three special teams stops in three postseason contests. For his career, Anderson has totaled 49 tackles (34 solo), four passes defensed, one interception and 61 special teams tackles in 63 games played (six starts). Prior to joining the Colts, he played four seasons (2010-13) for the Philadelphia Eagles. Anderson originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Montana and spent his rookie season in 2009 on the practice squad of the Minnesota Vikings.
03/08/15 - S Colt Anderson, unrestricted FA update, proved to be a pretty good special teams performer and a valuable backup at safety. Anderson led the team in special teams tackles (12) and is a good role player who can fill several spots for the Colts. For the right price and if Anderson is willing, he could return for the 2015 season in Indianapolis.
11/26/14 - S Colt Anderson (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice session. Anderson, though, remains hopeful of playing Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium against Washington. His status will be updated on Friday.
10/02/14 - S Colt Anderson (groin) went through full workouts Wednesday and Thursday. Anderson is expected to be available Sunday to play against Baltimore.
10/01/14 - S Colt Anderson (groin) practiced Wednesday. Anderson did not play last week against the Titans. He may be available to suit up for Sunday's home game with Baltimore.
