Post-Draft Outlook:BEST PICK: In a draft that seemed to be short on elite talent, the 49ers might have grabbed one with the No. 10 overall pick. Crabtree is a tough, physical receiver who will win over Singletary with his willingness to mix it up as a blocker. Maybe this wasn't as much a great pick, as it was lucky that he fell in the 49ers' lap. A closer look at the 49ers' picks: Round 1/10 - Michael Crabtree, WR, 6-2, 215, Texas Tech...The 49ers were ecstatic that Crabtree was there when it was time to pick. He is coming off surgery for a stress fracture in his left foot. The club expects him to be 100 percent for the opening of training camp, and likely win the starting job at split end. - by The Sports Xchange

10/18/16 - WR Michael Crabtree had season lows in both receptions (two) and yards (10).
10/13/16 - WR Michael Crabtree has a touchdown reception against Kansas City in his last two games.
10/09/16 - WR Michael Crabtree caught three passes for 47 yards and a touchdown, giving him five TD grabs on the season.
10/04/16 - WR Michael Crabtree continues to be one of the best decisions general manager Reggie McKenzie ever made in free agency, arriving with a one-year deal while not being pursued heavily after an on-and-off career with the 49ers.
Crabtree had his first three-touchdown game against Baltimore, and he earlier put away a win over New Orleans with a leaping catch of a two-point conversion.
"It's a different situation," Crabtree said. "Different coordinators, different quarterbacks. I'm most thankful to be in this position."
Crabtree has 26 receptions for 308 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Raiders in catches and touchdowns while 10 yards behind Amari Cooper (318) in receiving yards. He was rewarded with a contract extension last season.
"I promised him that if we work hard -- I didn't promise him catches, I didn't promise him touchdowns -- but I promised him that if we worked our tails off together that we could do something special," Crabtree said.
10/02/16 - WR Michael Crabtree was simply too much for the Ravens' secondary. The veteran caught seven passes for 88 yards with three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with just over two minutes left in the game. Crabtree is thriving in the Raiders' high-powered offense with Derek Carr under center. "We're playing well. Period," Crabtree said. "It doesn't matter where the game is or who we're playing, we're just playing well. We're coming together as a team."
