Draft Scout Case Keenum News
04/19/16 - QB Case Keenum, who was tendered as a restricted free agent by the Rams, was re-signed Monday (April 18).
01/03/16 - QB Case Keenum completed 22 of 37 passes for 231 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions Sunday in a loss to San Francisco. He had a passer rating of 77.6. Keenum, who went 3-1 over the final four games, finished the season with an 87.7 passer rating. He completed 76 of 125 passes for 828 yards and four touchdowns with one interception.
12/17/15 - QB Case Keenum enjoyed the best game of his brief NFL career, completing 14 of 17 passes for 234 yards with two scores and a 158.0 passer rating, 0.3 shy of a perfect mark. Keenum also avoided turnovers.
12/03/15 - QB Case Keenum remains in the NFL concussion protocol and had limited work in practice Wednesday as the Rams began preparations for Sunday's game against Arizona. Nick Foles would be the starter again if Keenum isn't cleared.
Head coach Jeff Fisher said, "He had good work Monday, yesterday. He was limited today. He feels good, but he's still yet to be cleared. As you observed, Nick got most of the reps today and we'll just kind of see how things go tomorrow."
12/03/15 - QB Nick Foles will start at quarterback again this week for the Rams while Case Keenum continues to recover from a concussion.
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher announced Thursday that Keenum remains in concussion protocol but could be cleared before Sunday's game against the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals. If Keenum is available, he would serve as the No. 2 quarterback.
Keenum was injured when he landed on the back of his helmet during a loss two weeks ago to the Baltimore Ravens.
"He's feeling better, feeling good," Fisher said of Keenum. "Part of the protocol is just evaluating him. So all the tests with the neurologist and things are OK. It's just about him feeling 100 percent."
